As soon as we arrived at Narita Airport, we booked Narita Express (N’EX) tickets for an easy ride to Tokyo. The train was quiet and had plenty of luggage room. My family and I fell in love with Tokyo Disneyland. It’s a small world, and Space Mountain, along with the traditional, was just created for our family. The kids loved getting to see their favorite Disney characters, and the parades were beautiful.
We had the Disneyland app to thank for getting the wait times for rides and show times so we could get the most out of our day. We couldn’t have stopped stargazing when we saw the fireworks finale of our magical day at Disneyland.

It was Ueno Zoo, Japan’s oldest and most beloved zoo, where we found our miracle. Kids loved it when we looked at giant pandas and exotic creatures from around the world. ‘The petting zoo was the perfect place for them to get up close and personal with smaller animals, and that was such a joy and adventure. Then, after the zoo, we spent some time in the quiet forest of Ueno Park and had a slow picnic in the woods. The Zoo entry tickets can be purchased at the gate.
